Has my best guy friend lost COMPLETE interest in me entirely? I have a great guy friend who found me about 8 months ago back in March of this year & he told me I was his middle school crush & also told me his feelings for me returned since we haven’t seen each other since middle school & that he was interested in me still & we even came up w/ nicknames to call each other once we were to get to the next level & we picked "Ariel & Eric" from Disneys The Little Mermaid. Everything started out quite well & I was a top friend on his myspace page for a while from March til about the beginning of Aug. then he removed me completely from his top friends on myspace due to a couple situations like he was uneasy w/ me adding a few of his female friends which 2 of the girls are his exes & the other was his HS crush & I’ve never have met them & he was also a lil upset w/ me for trying to call him at one in the morning but kept me as a top friend on facebook. He’s currently in a relationship w/ a girl whose only about 16 years old & he’s 20. I asked him if he still had feelings for me much & @ the time when he & his current girlfriend started dating, when I asked him he said "Idk, I’m confused, lost in my own world gotta find out things" & they’re still currently dating @ this point & he does currently have feelings for her & I doubt that he has feelings for me much anymore & there’s a good possibility that he’s SO lost in his own world. Some of my friends are thinking he’s emotionally unstable over the fact he’s dating a 16 yr old. I care about him very much, still have feelings for him & I consider him to be like a brother to me as well that I’d do anything for him & I’m still NOT giving up on him no matter what! He hasn’t been online as far as AIM in quite a while. The only thing he’s been on lately is his myspace & facebook & of course, I’m sure he’s spending alot of time w/ his current girlfriend plus working 2 jobs & he hasn’t told me that he may no longer have feelings for me. Is it a possibility that he may no longer feel the same way about me anymore?? I need as much advice as I can possibly get & sry if this is a little long but I needed to mention everything so it would make sense basically!

Going nuts trying to think of a song I heard!? It’s next to impossible unless I suddenly remember part of it. There’s a song I heard a few years ago and thought "oh this is going to get popular, it’s good." and it did. Then I saw the music video one day. I remember it being very colorful, and I think the silhouette of the singer was used…? maybe. It was kind of psychedelic if i recall… now, I heard it on the radio the other day, and I’m trying to recall it again now. I can’t for the life of me remember the tune (it was very upbeat, catchy, made me want to dance) or who sings it. It’s sung by a black guy, and I think it came out between 2005-2007. help?! That’s all that I can remember. Obviously, if I could remember the tune and some lyrics or the guy’s name – I’d be able to find the song. :-/

Can anyone give me any scientific proof that a bolt-on or a neck-though guitar is better than the other? Can anyone give me any scientific proof that a bolt-on or a neck-though guitar is better than the other? Personally I would use the "bolt-in" method which presents 30% more sustain and more tonal transference than a bolt-on since the neck is bolted directly under where the neck pick-up would be. This also gets rid of the excess wood in the way of reaching the upper frets as used by P.R.S. or Ed Roman vs a "bolt-on" but the principal is the same as a bolt-on. I am trying to make my next guitar and I don’t know which construction I should choose.Can anyone give me scientific fact that bolting the neck is better than gluing the wings onto a longer neck?
P.S. (I know glue is bad and a tone dampener —- hence my problem — I would just do a five piece master-grade Bird’s Eye Maple/Korina neck with an Ebony fret-board if the glue wasn’t an issue. One thing I left out accidentally. When I say better I mean more sustain and tonal transference. Lol and when I say sustain I mean how long the string will vibrate to produce a note. And by tonal transference I mean resonance of a certain exotic wood to another such as maple or mahogany.
Whether I’m right or not about the bolts/glue, the neck-through is the best. The neck is esentially an integral piece of the body. Damping will certianly be lowest in that configuration. It will be harder / impossible to repair or modify though. douglw.geo | Oct 10, 2009
