Disturbin' Tha Peace leader Ludacris has guaranteed fans that his upcoming Battle of the Sexes album is still slated to drop this year and will include production from The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams.

As well as posting an image of Williams working in the studio, Luda also provided fans with a computed date of release through his popular Twitter page.
“Just left rod Rouge for a show. No work or school tmrw so come Check out Live Jazz Sundays at Straits Atl 793 Juniper St & fifth Ave! In the studio with Pharrell my good people. Reports last month suggested Luda would no longer use rapper Shawnna for the album's female viewpoint.
For folks don't recall, Shawnna selected to diss Luda and the DTP family for T-Pain's Nappy Boy imprint. While details are sketchy currently, not especially, but I am frightened to say too much, what is known is that rather than Luda ganging up with the Chicago-native for the co-ed galvanized rap album – she's been replaced with a plethora of old and young female MC's. Tenatively, rappers like Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim, Eve and a few others are being tapped for the project, which is about to hit stores in early 2010. ( Gyant Unplugged )
talking to a packed concert venue of fans last fall, Shawnna asserted her main focus was still on getting out her Battle of the Sexes joint album with Luda.
“I know y'all been hearing lots of sh*t about what's been going on with me and sh*t, right, right,” Shawnna told a crowd of fans. “I know y'all been hearing plenty of T-Pain rumours, 'Shawnna ain't f*cking with Luda no more' and all that sh*t. I just need y'all to grasp that I'm still f*cking with Luda, that's's my n*gga one hundred % man. We have Battle of the Sexes coming shortly and I am signing a new deal with T-Pain right there…I'm f*cking with two real good n*ggas in the industry so I can not help but win. Early Sep reports suggested both T-Pain and Shawnna were working on a deal.
Auto-tune King T-Pain just leaked a track called 'Dope,' from his forthcoming album RevolveR, featuring Chicago rapper Shawnna. The long-overlooked female MC begins her verse by announcing that she is the latest signee to agony's Nappy Boy imprint, rhyming “It ain't common knowledge that lyrically I am the reason Nappy Boy had to put me on their team.” ( The Boom Box )
