 Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005)

Plot: Two years after “Final Fantasy 7″, life seems to have returned to a state of normality after Sephiroth’s attempts at mass genocide and the danger of Meteor. On the edge of the ruins of the metropolis Midgar, a new city has thrived, called the Edge and at it’s center lies a monument that entails no one will forget Meteor and the ones who died. Cloud Strife, the hero who defeated Sephiroth, is a delivery boy now, no longer interested in fighting wars or leading rebellions. The world is at peace, and AVALANCHE is gone it’s separate ways. Tifa Lockheart has reopened the new 7th Heaven, in the Edge, looking after Marlene and other orphans, including Denzel. Barret Wallace is working with the WRO in finding new energy sources to supply the world now that Mako is no longer used. Cid Highwind is also working with the WRO, as an airship pilot and leader of their air fleet. Reeve (and Cait Sith) is now heading the WRO and working, striving, to create a better world for all. Vincent Valentine has returned to solace, switching his places between his mansion home in Nibleheim and the Sleeping Forest, and the Forgotten City. Yuffie Kirisagi is back in Wutai, though what the Ninja is doing is unknown to all. But despite this lull in adventure, there is something that is striving the world. Geostigma, the Sephiroth, JENOVA’s memetic legacy. A disease that counters the body’s own defence system in on itself and causes it to destroy itself. Rufus ShinRa, ex-President of Midgar, is a sufferer of the disease, along with the ex-SOLDIER Cloud, and lives now in his hide-away home the Healin Lodge with his faithful bodyguards, the Turks. But who are the mysterious silver haired band, known as Kadaj’s Gang? Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo, all of silver hair and teal eyes. Who are these strange people, who appear so much like Sephiroth?

They could have made it A LOT better. It has almost nothing to do with the game though, the game was so much better. I’m a big FF7 fan, and I was somewhat disappointed with the movie…

If you have a PS3 then wait for them to release it on blu ray, it will come with a lot of additional footage and a demo for FF13

It’s watchable, I suppose, but you need to know the story of FF7 to really understand it. You could find a plot summary or something instead of buying the game.

Visually it’s an amazing movie… plot-wise, you’re kind of expected to already know who people are and why they behave the way they do, because the movie doesn’t provide much back-story.

 Last Mimzy, The (2007)

Plot: The siblings Noah and Emma travel with their mother Jo from Seattle to the family cottage in Whidbey Island to spend a couple of days while their workaholic father David Wilder is working. They find a box of toys from the future in the water and bring it home, and Emma finds a stuffed rabbit called Mimzy, and stones and a weird object, but they hide their findings from their parents. Mimzy talks telepathically to Emma and the siblings develop special abilities, increasing their intelligences to the level of genius. Their father becomes very proud when Noah presents a magnificent design in the fair of science and technology, and his teacher Larry White and his mystic wife Naomi Schwartz become interested in the boy when he draws a mandala. When Noah accidentally assembles the objects and activates a powerful generator creating a blackout in the state, the FBI arrests the family trying to disclose the mystery. But Emma unravels the importance to send Mimzy back to the future.

How should I answer if it ask if I ever was arrested?
Back in 1994, I was 23 years old and 8 months pregnant. I had been teaching preschool when my car broke down. MY mom gave me permission to use her credit card to get my car fixed as long as I paid the credit card every month. I had paid for about 3 months until I got pregnant and ended up in the hospital 7 times due to being dehydrated and my blood pressure being too high. Too make a long story short, I ended up losing my job and couldnt pay on her credit card anymore. My mom’s boyfriend got mad at her and made her press charges on me and for credit card abuse. I didn’t even know they had this this until they came to my house after I was released from the hospital and told me I had to go to the police station and take care of this. I didn’t even know what I had did until the policeman told me what my mom had did. My mother in law was so agry with my mom because she knew my mom had lied. The very next day, my mom dropped charges and cried telling me how sorry she was. She only wanted her bill paid and this was the only way to do it. This never went to court and it was all dropped but I was fingerprinted but never handcuffed. I am applying for a very good job and on the application it ask if I have ever been arrested before. What do I put down? This was almost 16 years ago that this happened. I did a search on my name and nothing came up.
You weren’t arrested because you weren’t held in custody.

Say yes, it was a family misunderstanding and the charges were dropped. They usually ask for an explanation. Tell the truth, it always looks better. And good luck.

Two possibilites here:
1. Say no, That will ,be the end of it. Unless of course the job is with a government agenc, miltary contractor, financial institution, etc., in which case they’ll probably find out and you not only won’t get hired because you’re a liar but you could even (not likely, but not impossible, either) end up in jail over it.
2. Say yes, due to a financial dispute wth a family member, and the charges were quickly dropped. (Leave out the sob story. Nobody wants extra drama.) They will think you’re remarkably honest, and other than that they won’t care about it.
