Sarah is the daughter of United States senator John Winthorpe. For ransom, the Abu Karaf demand the release of 20 prisoners from American custody. The US Secretary of State urges restraint — he won’t negotiate. Tom Collins, an ex-colleague of Jake’s, recognizes Jessica on the ransom tape and tips Jake off. Jake knows that he must rescue the girls himself. An old CIA buddy puts Jake in contact with Leon Washington, an active CIA agent who is working in Thailand. Jake goes to Bangkok, and escapes an assassination attempt. Leon arranges a meeting for himself with with Soku — the internal security chief for General Jantapan. Jantapan is a rebel military general who is making a play to be one of the most powerful men in Thailand. Secretly, Jantapan is messing with some dangerous spiritual forces. Soku provides Jake with a cover story, but the CIA wants Jake out of it — they are planning to take out the Abu Karaf with the aid of the Thai army, and they don’t want a civilian in the middle. Jake is a spiritual man, so he contacts his spiritual master Paijan Paitoon. As Jake is in trouble, Paitoon offers to arrange a divination from the oracle of the order. Jake enlists the help of Sunti. Jake gets Lulu, the girlfriend of arms dealer Fitch McQuoid, to steal information leading to the Abu Karaf. Jake and Sunti follow the leads to a warehouse where they discover evidence of highly sophisticated weaponry. With their enemies now after Lulu, Jake takes Lulu under his wing. Jake shares some of his info with Leon. Can he trust Leon? Another attempt is made on Jake’s life — and this time, Jake is sure that Leon was involved. Finally, the Abu Karaf contact Jake to arrange a meeting — the pieces are coming together, and Jake figures out that it was not the Abu Karaf who kidnapped Jessica and Sarah. Jantapan tries to send the spirit of an ancient warrior demon to kill Jake, but the ceremony goes wrong and the spirit enters Jantapan himself, giving Jantapan amazing physical and spiritual powers. Jake and Sunti go to meet Mongkol, the leader of the Abu Karaf. Mongkol confirms that ever since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Jantapan has worked to corner the narcotics and arms markets. It was Jantapan who kidnapped the girls, blaming the Abu Karaf so the army would wipe out his competition. Mongkol knows where the girls are, and he gives Jake plans and intelligence. They both need the girls alive. Jake must engage in a battle that will put both his physical and spiritual powers to the ultimate test.

I Need a Family Law Lawyer In the Seattle Area?
Wow, ok, so my case is easy, but my finances are low. I need some one to ensure that all my court documents are correct, and I am not missing anything.
My Case: Well my child support is being modified by the state. I have 1 child that I am paying for, which is the child in question. My support is going up about 300 extra dollars a month, and I can’t afford that. I have 2 other children that I support, from my current marriage. My wife just got off bed rest, so I am the only one with the income. I seen a lawyer today, and she ran some numbers, and it looks like it would be about 240 a month. I can manage that. I just can’t afford her services, and there is so much paperwork, I don’t know what to do.
Is there anyone in my area that can help with paperwork. I can pay by the hour, but I can’t afford $5000 up front. I don’t need to be represented in court. I just want to make sure everything is filled out correctly, and nothing is left out. I don’t want my proposal to be thrown out because of one little mistake.
One more thing, I want to modify the custody. There is no paranting plan, and my son’s mother has custody. I am sure she will agree to split custody and we can work out a parating plan. So there will be not ugly battle in court. Again, I just need to ensure that all paperwork is included, and I need to be led in the right direction.
Any help is possible. I just can’t afford big up front cost, but I can pay, and work out a payment plan. I am sure this is easy work for somone who knows what they are doing.

I need to find a way to edit or convert my m2ts files so adobe premiere stops lagging?
My video camera makes high defintion m2ts files which are of high quality, however, my laptop isn’t really good enough to allow me to edit smoothly using Adobe premiere elements.
Before this I tried using pinnacle studios but that lagged even more, and so recently I tried converting the m2ts files into many different formats, here are the results:
avi – doesn’t work – no sound
mpg – doesn’t work – no picture
wmv – works but creates a laggy effect
mp4/mpv – worked the best and I thought I had found a solution – the videos were of much less quality but were now about a fifth of the size, but when I opened Adobe up to edit them I actually found it lagged much much more with these files than it did with the HD m2ts files.
I couldn’t find video converting software that just turned m2ts files into lower quality m2ts files but would that work, does anyone have any idea of what I should do?
You already answered your own question: "laptop isn’t really good enough to allow me to edit"… use a computer that exceeds the minimum requirements for MTS file editing.

You can convert the HD video to common file. I recommend you a HD Video Converter which can convert HD TS, HD MTS, HD M2TS, HD MPEG, HD WMV, HD MPG, HD MP4, QuickTime HD MOV, HD H.264, HD RM video, etc.
It also can edit the HD movies, such as CUT a video clip, crop the movie, merge several files into one file and so on.

Personally, I use Movavi Video Converter for all video conversion, I used it to convert all my DVD rips from .avi to .mp4’s for my iPod.

a, in fact, convert M2TS FILES to other common video format is really the best way. i always use this, you can just have a try the free download, i often use it convert AVCHD video to HD video , like HD MPEG-4/HD MOV/HD AVI/HD MPG etc and convert AVCHD video to common video ,like avi/wmv/flv/mov/vob/mp4/mpgetc, of course, you can edit /playback/import it with PSP/IPOD/IPHONE/APPLE TV/windows movie maker, etc, hope it can be help,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Can I prove to you that Global Warming is false?
The theory of Global Warming became popular by An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore which states that the ozone is being destroyed by greenhouse gases (especially CO2) and that the Earth will heat up and ice caps will melt and cause another desert era.
This film coincidentally was published around the time he decided to run for president.
But oddly enough, this fact of greenhouse gases destroying the ozone, would be much as an oxymoron, since the ozone is a layer in the atmosphere that holds heat in (which would be like saying that you are trying to burn a hole through fire).
Also if you have ever taken a coarse in chemistry then you would know that CO2 not only is much smaller then H20 vapors but that H2O vapors consumes way more heat than CO2 emits, making the rise in temperature only insignificantly a rise of about a millionth of a degree every year.
The air too is still much cleaner now than it was in the 1970’s and 1980’s which (in the 1960’s people had their own backwards theory of Global Warming, except instead of ice caps melting, it was more of another ice age coming, if any of you are old enough to remember this)
Yet how could we as American’s go from one extreme theory of new ice age to another global warming, in only about 20 years?
There are many scientists now opposing Global Warming is false, you could even google it if you must.
But the theory of Global Warming stays in the media of course.
This is because many different marketing companies (especially cars) uses this as their leading campaign to get people to buy their very expensive products.
Although the issue of another fuel source is a legitimate issue since fossil fuels wont be around forever, especially with a growing population but i digress.
If you could think of any evidence that supports the theory of Global Warming, please post it and i will do my best to try to find a counter example.
Yes greenhouse gases do emit radiation (or energy which causes heat) into the enviornment, but water molecules absorb many of those gases and act as a counter balance. If you knew any chemistry you would know that the difference made by CO2 is not much of any difference when talking about heating anything.
To the guy who said that I am a nut in a redneck state, I actually live in Washington, and yes the theory does lead to another ice age, but how can you explain the first desert age (which followed an ice age) in the first place, besides it being phases in Earth, which are actually caused by the sun spots and not CO2 levels.
And yes I have seen the ridiculous Al Gore movie.
The way to prove it is false is by looking at the past.
The Ice Age, and Desert era before that.

well the whole solar system is warming up. happens every few thousand years. the sun’s doing. I don’t think we’ve caused too much, yet, but even if the truth be know that it is not real, is it not just common sense to go green? recycle, find alternative fuel sources that are renewable and don’t let out any form of pollution, no nuclear war, etc. seems like the only reasonable & safe approach to me, and if all else fails it should shut Gore up, right?

Based on what you wrote in your rant, (I mean "question") I don’t believe that you even saw the film. However, I would like to see you dispute the following — that greenhouse gases are gases in an atmosphere that absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range. If you can successfully dispute this, then greenhouse warming theory will crumble.
