HELP!!!! I need book suggestions!!! 1o PTS!!!?
HELLO!!!
so i went to chapters and got like… 10 or so pretty awesome books last week. Then i went yesterday (b/c i finished them all) and I couldn’t find a thing!!! I normally walk out the door with ten books in my hand, but yesterday i left with one… ONE!!! that will last me a good hour…. what am i going to do for the rest of the week?!?!?! im super over reacting… i know… but i need my daily dosage of adventure and i dont have that without a book under my noes.
it feels like ive read every book (book im interested in) on the self of chapter
well… i was sorta rushing through yesterday, but i would like some suggestions anyway… actually, a LOT of suggestions. plz consider if ill like the book based on these books ive already read….

I love those stories with those twists in them. i enjoy suspense fantasy scifi… but i dont want it out of control weird like Harry Potter (im beging… do not suggest HP b/c ive heard they’re like… AMAZING but the middles r dull. I can not have a second of dullniss or its a total turn off the book and ill literaly drop it and pick up anouther one). So yeah… it needs to be intresting from the second it starts to the second it finishes. Do NOT suggest a seiries with 12 books with 900 pgs in them b/c even though i read fast, i HATE books that r too long. No clique novels aswel. there is NO point or story in those books. Oh and nothing with fairies, vampires, dragons, ogres (except chocolate ogres.. lol u would have had to read Everwild to get that… *sigh* awesome book) ect… i love things like the Apocalypse (but no vampires or imortals)

How come me and my best friend don't talk much anymore?
K, we have known each other for about 2 1/2 years and around probably August 10th I wanna say of last year, before I started High School, me and her started talking a lot. Like probably over 150 text a day. And it just started off as me being her "bus buddy" but gradually grew into like a brother sister/best friend kinda relationship. And the talking like we did lasted up until around November and out of the blue she just stopped texting me like we did, and I didn’t know why. We still talked a decent amount up until the beginning of December I think. Than less and less. So, we mesaged her on myspace like December 18th and we talked and she said we need to talk about me cause she knew I liked her for awhile. I did probably since October. And I asked her is that why you stopped talking to me like we used to she said yeah. So I told her give me time and I’ll be over you. Towards the end of winter break I knew I got over her, told her, she said good cause it was making our friendship awkward. And for about 2-3 weeks we started talking. Not like we did but a good amount. Than we got into a fight like January 8th about her not wanting to be my friend anymore cause supposedly I lie to her to much. I patched things up that night to keep her as my friend. And again, we talked more. Now, she really doesn’t ever text me anymore when I text her. And I am over her, we patched everything up and all, so I still don’t know why she doesn’t talk to me like we did. And it makes me really sad cause she will graduate before me since she is a sophomore and me a freshman and I wanna try to talk to her as much as possible until she graduates cause she is what’s known as a "realist" and says she won’t remember in another 10 years. So I wanna keep our friendship strong until her graduation day at least. I mean we still talk a lot in the mornings before class starts, on the bus rides to and from school, but never text like we used to and one of my friends is constantly with her now and it pisses me off cause I don’t get to talk to her about it almost ever. She doesn’t like him or anything, but it feels like I’m being replaced by somebody which hurts, and him being a good friends makes it hurt worse. And I don’t know how to get her to talk to me like we did or anything cause everything that made her not talk to me like we did is done and over with. So I need some advice cause it has been making me somewhat sad/depressed lately.

The reason that you don’t talk a lot with your friend is that you have grown apart. You should look for someone that shares your same interests. Even if you don’t share anything in common with a former friend, you shouldn’t stop talking to them.

I'm 18, Is it possible to sue my mother for neglect or abuse?
I’m 18 years of age, I just turned 18 nine months ago. I’ve lived with my mother all my life, when i was asked by my father at the age of 14 if I would move in with him I was excited and told my mother. She claimed that because she would lose my child support she would not be able to afford our house and have to go to an apartment (lie) and at the fear of lowering the standard of living for my siblings and mother I denied my dad’s offer. Before I turned 18 my mother was bearable, but never the mother my friends have. When i turned 18 and the child support stopped coming in she changed, everything changed. Since I’ve turned 18 I’ve been out of a job a total of five months but I’ve attended high school classes the whole time, during the periods that I was out of a job I was continuously searching for work. I had to sell my personal possessions to get the money for gasoline to go out and apply for jobs (she wouldn’t help me) During these periods my mother was home at the same time as me and conscious maybe 2 hours out of the day, and all during these periods she said I did absolutely nothing with my time. She called me a bum, a worthless $hit, and a pig claiming that I lived like one. She has neglected our pets, we had three and she just recently got rid of two. The one we still have is still neglected, he has had mange for a couple years which isn’t that expensive to treat yet my mother doesn’t do anything about it. He’s also infested with flees, thus our house is. Me and my girlfriend are covered in scabs and scars where they bite us. I’m not a pig, scored a 1390 on my SAT, I’ve recently received my high school diploma, and I’ve found work. And now that I’m finally getting everything together she gives me until March to move out so her divorcee sister can move into my room. She wants me to move into a duplex where we have to let her and her new husband in when they want in (it’s a rule). Also dogs are allowed but if i want to bring my girlfriend’s cats (which I’m obligated to) I have to pay $20 extra a month per cat. All rent would go to her new husband’s pocket who currently does not help her or us with any expenses.

My question: Can i sue her for neglect or abuse or anything for that matter? Is it to late to sue? Can I get her for anything at all for making me feel depressed the past nine months. She is about to kick me out of her house and I won’t be able to move out and support myself on a half months worth of minimum wage. She has trapped me and my siblings financially and has put her name on everything of ours including my car title. The only thing she doesn’t have access to is my bank account. I plan on legally separating myself from her soon. I just need to know if I’m SOL and homeless first.

To the second post, she doesn’t provide food only a place to live. I’m dependent on my girlfriend’s mom for food.
So we live in a world where parents can do practically anything to their children without repercussions. And the children get screwed in the end and have to "man up". Thank you civilized society.

There’s a huge concept you are forgetting. The child support ended when you turned 18 for a reason… you’re not a child anymore. You’re an adult. Once you reach the age of 18, your mom has no obligations to support you. She can kick you out, charge you rent and do whatever. You don’t have to move where she wants you to, you can move anywhere you want.

Under the age of 18 your mother is not responsible for putting gas in your vehicle. She is obligated to give you the NEEDS not wants but your needs to survive such as food.

You have no lawsuit to file. You chose to live in the deplorable conditions your mom had. Remember at 18 you are an adult and she has no continued obligations to you.
