Waitress (2007)

IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: Jenna is unhappily married, squirreling away money, and hoping to win a pie-baking contest so, with the prize money, she’ll have enough cash to leave her husband Earl. She finds herself pregnant, which throws her plans awry. She bakes phenomenal pies at Joe’s diner, listens to old Joe’s wisdom, tolerates her sour boss Cal, is friends with Dawn and Becky (her fellow waitresses), and finds a mutual attraction with the new doctor in town. As the pregnancy advances, life with Earl seems less tolerable, a way out less clear, and the affair with the doctor complicated by his marriage. What options does a waitress have?

How do I do this hairstyle?
I was just out to eat and one of the waitresses had her hair parted at the side, pulled back into a pony tail with some pieces hanging out in front. The back (not the top of her head around the crown, it was more towards the top of the back of the head) was poofed up and out a bit.

How do I do a style like that? I’ve tried to do something similar with a poof more towards the top and when I tried pulling it into a pony tail it went flat.

bumpits probably for the poof.

Well, the easiest way is to use a Bumpit, I know it sounds lame to use one of those but you can try it, just be sure to not let anyone see it!

Another way - which is the original and most popular way, is to tease it. So you'll need a teasing comb, teasing combs have very close and thin teeth from what I see and is small. Then you backcomb it so you comb it backwards, grab all the hair you want to tease (poof) and then comb it backwards, (it'll get messy), then put hairspray and then clip it, and there you'll have a poof! :]
