This is one of the best online sites where you can watch movies and various channels fro free. You can also download movies from this site. The site is a very good collection of English and Hindi movies. It has a collection of several thousands of multimedia content. I found almost all new releases from Hollywood as well as from Bollywood. You might know that Bollywood signifies the movie industry of India. Bollywood movies are in the Hindi language and it has demand across the world.

Per this site (www.stage6.divx.com), “DivX Stage6 is a place for people who love video. It's a high-quality platform that lets anyone upload, download, view, share and experience everything from short clips captured on mobile phones all the way up to full-length, high-definition feature films. Anyone can become a publisher, anyone can build an audience and every video available on Stage6 is compatible with over 70 million consumer electronics devices from every major manufacturer, making it easy to play back Stage6 videos on your television or portable device.”

You can find all kinds of video here. If you want to share your own video you can do that with the help of this site. You have to have a login to do that. Stage6 is an open forum and they want to use the power of the Internet for digital video media. Stage6 is a media which may help the producers to distribute their art works at the door steps of every interested individual. We can get the maximum out of this community if we are able to increase the participation.

How to Find and Locate the Movie Online in Stage6

All videos are tagged with phrases and that makes the search easy. Suppose you want to search all Hindi movies. Just type 'Hindi' in the search text box and press enter. It will list all available Hindi movies. Now, you can sort that listing by date, length, hotness and rating. The 'length' sorting is very useful. Just sort the listing by length and you will easily be able to identify the full length movies from the list. Each video image shows the length of the movie. You can sort by date in order to get the latest movie. The good thing is once you search for Hindi movies, you will be able to see the all related tags displayed on right hand side. By those suggested tags you can get more specific videos you are looking for.

How to Watch the Movie in Stage6

There are two ways to watch movies on this site. You can watch the videos either online with direct streaming or by downloading the video. If you want to watch the video online you need to have a DIVX web player installed in your local system. If you don't have DIVX web player the video watch box will display the message “The DIVX Web Player is required to view this video. Click here to install” once you click the video. Install the DIVX Web Player to watch the movie online.

If you download the movie and want to watch it in your spare time you need DIVX player installed at your local system. Just go to www.divx.com to download the free version of DIVX player.

How to Download the Movies from Stage6

Downloading movies is a little tricky. You won't find any download option for all the video contents displayed in this site. Follow these easy steps to download the videos:

1 – Click the 'Play' button of the video to play the video.

2 – You will see the web player is buffering the video in your local system. When 100% buffering is complete the Web Player will start showing the video. Click the 'Pause' button to pause the video stream.

3 – Though you paused the video stream the download doesn't stop by that. So you will see the buffering or play time status bar of the Web Player is extending. A blue line will start to increase. When this blue line reaches its maximum you can assume that the download is completed.

4 – Go inside the folder called DIVX of your hard disk and look for the video file you are playing in the DIVX Web Player. Save (Save As) that file to another name. This new file will be the complete download of the video you are watching. The files which are stored in DIVX folders are temporary files that helps to watch the video and as soon as you close the browser these files will be deleted.

The quality of each video is excellent. Just try it out and let me know what your experience is.

Samsung BD-P1200

The Samsung BD-P1200 is one of the best Blue-Ray DVD players on the market. This is the second generation of the Samsung Blue-Ray DVD player and it has solved a lot of the issues that were found in the first generation consoles. The Samsung BD-P1200 can play CD's and has HDMI 1.3 support, despite these two fixes it still has disappointing audio playback. The Samsung BD-P1200 makes up for this in its Blue-Ray and DVD image quality, both have stunning output. Although this generation of Samsung BD doesn't have all the issues as the first generation it still has some problems.

The player has a sleek design and is a very attractive unit; the front panel has a glossy finish that will attract finger prints. With only three buttons on the front you won't need to touch it much, but it's ok because you get one of the best stock remotes ever. The remote is very well designed, all of the important buttons are grouped together and it's easy to use. I also like how they made the main control buttons glow in the dark, no more searching for the important buttons like play/stop/forward/reverse.

The player can play Blue-Ray discs and DVD's both have exceptional video quality, of course the Samsung BD-P1200 can not play HD-DVD discs. The HDMI 1.3 allows for deep rich colors and even better video output to your HDTV. Overall this player is one of the best on the market for watching High-Def video on, you can get one for about $700 bucks check them out hereToshiba HD-XA2 HD DVD player

The Toshiba HD-XA2 is one of the best HD DVD players around and is one of the cheapest HD DVD players you can buy right now, sitting at about $600 bucks. This isn't too bad when a lot of High-Def players are selling for around $1000. The Toshiba HD-XA2 supports HD DVD playback and will also play DVD's. Since the first generation consoles Toshiba has fixed a lot of issues that were crippling their performance and sales of players.

Toshiba HD-XA2 is much improved over the first generation console; it features HDMI 1.3 as well as 1080p output. The image quality on the Toshiba HD-XA2 is nothing short of amazing, I was shocked how clear and crisp the image output was. If you are willing to gamble on HD DVD format winning the format war this could be one heck of a player. If you want to take a chance this is the player for you, but for those who aren't sure it might be better to wait and see who wins HD DVD or Blue-Ray.

Check it out you can get one hereLG BH100

If you are serious about HD DVD and Blue-Ray then you might want to invest in something like the LG BH100 which is capable of playing both formats of High-Def DVD's. This of course isn't going to be a cheap player, they cost about $1200 dollars but you can play both formats of the High-Def DVD's which means you wont have to worry about the format war interfering with title selection or eventually when one format wins your player wont be obsolete.

This player has all the goodies that you would expect from a High-Def player, HDMI outputs, 1080i and 1080p outputs and amazing audio output. This is the best all in one High-def player you can get; you won't have to worry about anything with this player. What more could you ask for from a High-Def player, you get HD DVD and Blue-Ray playback with amazing video and audio.

The price of the LG BH100 would make you think that it has no quirks at all, but that isn't true, first it cant play CD's that isn't an issue with me but some people like to play CD's on their DVD player. Other quirks include some TV's not being able to support the 1080p output, up scaling of DVD's is not as great as a lot of its competitors, and finally the biggest flaw, it doesn't support HDi interactive features of HD DVD. With a price tag of $1200 you would think that they would make sure their product has no issues at all, even with the quirks it's still the best overall High-Def player on the market.

You can get a LG BH100 here

Well there you have it there are three High-Def players on the market that are the best around. You have your choice between HD DVD, Blue-Ray or a player that supports both playbacks. I suggest the LG BH100 if you are serious about High-Def video, it ensures that no matter what format wins the war you will still be able to use your player. It costs about double compared to the other players but think of it this way, you buy a $700 Blue-Ray player and then HD DVD becomes the only format you have to spend the $600 to get that player and now you are spending $100 extra dollars. So just to be safe get a player that will support both medias.

If you need something to do spend a minute reading this post. We think it was pretty good.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is one of the only times during the year for some people to enjoy a whole, roasted turkey. This is unfortunate because turkey is such a healthy and delicious meal, but for various reasons many people don't consider it feasible to serve it more often. Since turkey is usually the main event of the Thanksgiving meal, unless you're a vegetarian, of course you want to serve the moistest bird possible. In my opinion brining a turkey will ensure that and it's a lot easier than you might think.

The basic recipe for brining a turkey is to heat approximately 8 cups of water with 2/3 cup of kosher salt and 2/3 cup of sugar, and then let it cool to room temperature. If you want to make it even easier, heat only a cup or two of the liquid with the other ingredients and then add the rest of the water. This will help it cool down faster also.

That is just the starting point however. You want to infuse your turkey with as much flavor and moisture as possible, so think about the flavors you desire when formulating your custom brine. It's a good idea to heat the herbs and other spices with the liquid and salt for maximum flavor. If you go the traditional route add peppercorns, bay leaves, orange or lemon rind or zest, sprigs of thyme, rosemary and oregano. Perhaps you want a southwest style bird. In that case make half of your liquid a good quality beer and add sliced chili peppers, peppercorns, sage leaves, coriander seeds and fresh oregano leaves. For some French flair use herbs de Provence, chicken or turkey stock, lavender, and if you're lucky enough to have some, black or white truffles. What kind of sugar do you want to use? Try brown, turbinado, white, honey, molasses, etc. Play around with the flavors for your brine, but don't use too much citrus juice or anything too acidic because it will toughen the turkey.

Chances are that your refrigerator will be packed at Thanksgiving, with no room to house a turkey sitting in a roasting pan full of brine. You can brine the turkey in turkey oven bags; just make sure you triple bag them to avoid leakage. You may also want to brine your turkey in a cooler. Make sure the cooler seals well and doesn't have any leaks. Brine the turkey in the oven bags, but set it in a pan or pot and cover it with a couple of kitchen towels before layering the ice over it. This will ensure that the ice doesn't pop the bag open.

You should let the turkey marinate in the brine solution for 12-24 hours. Then simply stuff it, season it lightly, and roast it for a tender, moist and flavorful bird that melts in your mouth.

This is a  entertaining article that we got this morning

Up until a few years ago, the only knowledge I had of a drive-in movie theater was from watching the movie Grease. Then a local town dusted off the big screen and opened to the public. Now I and my daughters are able to share in a tradition that saw my parents through their teenage years; a true American tradition that at one time was as much of an icon in our culture as baseball. Baseball has since lost much of its popularity to football, and the drive-in became all but obsolete thanks to the indoor movie theaters we know today. Fortunately, the rising costs of ticket prices at indoor movie theaters have encouraged moviegoers to look for alternative ways to enjoy a night out. That's right, folks, drive-in theaters are making a comeback.

In the 50's, the typical teenager could be found at the local drive-in movie theaters on the weekend. Today, there are still many of these theaters all across the nation, but many of them are not operating; worse yet, some of them are being used to hold antique markets or flea markets. Operating costs of the drive-in movie theater are still high and many of those open to the public encourage patrons to frequent concession stands in order to make a profit. The semantics of the drive-in movie business is that tickets sales primarily cover the costs of showing the movies, and so these businesses rely on the sales from the concession stands to keep the business afloat.

There are many advantages to a drive-in movie theater that the indoor theaters just cannot afford moviegoers. Those of us with small children know we cannot take them to an indoor theater. Children just don't have the attention span to sit through an hour and a half movie completely quiet. Most indoor theaters ask that patrons don't bring small children; but even where it is allowed, parents are faced with harsh glances and comments from others in the theater if they cannot make their children sit quietly. At a drive-in movie theater, this is not an issue. Children are allowed to romp at play at their leisure without disrupting other patrons, most of whom sit in their vehicles with the windows up and listen to the movie directly through their car stereo system.

The price of attending a drive-in movie is considerably lower than that of a indoor theater. The adult ticket price at our local drive-in is $6 per person–and that price includes two newly released movies! In comparison, it costs over $9 for just one movie at local indoor theaters. Tickets for children ages 4-10 are $3, and children 4 and under get in free. Even concession prices are lower than at indoor theaters–but one option that is not available at an indoor theater is that of packing your own snacks and drinks. The usher at the indoor theater might be suspicious of the bulge in the trench coat you are wearing in the middle of August. No worries: Put your cooler in your trunk and head down to the drive-in! Additionally, our drive-in operates a “kiddie train” for $1 per ride; a far cry from the arcade games at the indoor theater.

Also, to the dismay of many parents of teenagers in our local area, drive-in theaters afford patrons a kind of privacy that is not available at an indoor theater. If you happen to be one of those hecklers who likes to laugh out loud or discuss the movie while it is still in progress, the drive-in movie theater is for you. Feel free to make as much noise as you possibly can muster, safely out of harm's way from the occasional tossed popcorn or soda cup.

Of course, you might have to endure the occasional patron that accidentally pushes the panic button on her car's alarm system halfway through the movie, disrupting you with flashing signals and loud alarms. You might have to move your car if some moron in a monster truck didn't read the sign telling him to park on the last few rows. And of course, halfway through the movie a storm cloud might roll in, bringing a torrential downpour of rain that somewhat obstructs your view of the feature. Thing is, these disruptions are not only surprisingly easy to endure, they add to the experience!

In keeping with the nostalgia of the drive-in experience, drive-ins still play old-fashioned cartoons at the start of the movie. Remember those old Mickey Mickey mouse cartoons, and the fuzzy cartoon ads for concessions? Those are still around. They still play the National Anthem, and it is expected that people will flash their lights and honk their horns in a celebratory salute to “the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.”

The drive-in experience is like no other in modern times. It is a tradition that, for some, brings back memories of when the world was still new and wholesome. We're seeing movies like Ghost Rider and Meet the Robinsons instead of the black and white pictures that used to grace the big screen, but the sentimental value of the drive-in is still unmatched by any form of modern entertainment. Make it a point to take your family to visit a drive-in in your area. Share this experience with a whole new generation. In this world we have little opportunity to participate in such age-old traditions. Drive-in movie theatres are a great way to reconnect with history.
