I know it can be a bit difficult to decide on a movie for Saturday night. That is why I have made this list of must-see movies. I hope it helps you in your decisions. This list is made up of horror movies from 1920 up until 1960. I left out all the bad ones and just listed the goodies. So hold on tight, grab the popcorn and don’t forget it’s just a movie.
Top Horror Movies of All Time (1920-1960)
Nosferatu, A symphony of terror (1922) – This is one of the earliest adaptations of Bram Stokers famous Count Dracula. The movie follows the odd infatuation of a mad man. Oddly, there is some debate on whether or not this movie was actually a piece of the Nazi propaganda machine and the Count Orloc character is actually a representation of Lenin. Well, I guess you’ll have to watch the movie and decide for yourself.
The Phantom of the Opera (1925) – This movie is a classic love story in which a famous opera singer is forced to relinquish her role in an upcoming opera to an unknown by a phantom that lives in the opera house. The phantom does this because he is in love with the unknown singer. There have been over a dozen versions of this tale but the 1925 version is by far the best.
Freaks (1930) – A horror movie set around circus freaks. In this movie we see a complex and deadly love triangle in which a trapeze artist schemes with her lover to cheat a midget out of his inheritance money. One of the earliest movies to focus on deformities, it was banned in many countries because of its characters disfigurements.
King Kong (1933) – A group of explorers discover a giant ape on an out of the way island. When the ape is brought to New York it escapes and begins ruining the city in search of the woman who discovered the ape. This movie has been remade and has many sequels but I promise you none come close to capturing the essence of the original.
Bride of Frankenstein (1935) – We now find out that the doctor and his beast were not killed and Frankenstein is now again on the loose. The good doctor must now create a bride for his monster. In this movie the monster becomes even more real than in the original. He is shown as more victim than monster.
Dead of Night (1945) – An architect meets with some colleagues only to discover he has dreamt the meeting all before. Slowly he realizes the point where the dream becomes nightmare so he is able to avoid it. This movie, wrote by H. G. Wells, is a classic if not for the tale then certainly for the cast.
Les Deaboliques (1955) – A plot to murder a tyrannical schoolmaster by his wife and mistress becomes a long and tangled tale. This French classic is said to have influenced Alfred Hitchcock’s movie Psycho. It is full of unpredictable twists and devastating realizations.
Dracula (1958) – A young boy is sent to catalog Dracula’s library. Dracula soon finds out that the young boy is actually meant to kill him. After the attempt fails Dracula leaves in search of the boy’s family and friends. Deemed a classic for its performances given by the leading actors.
Psycho (1960) – A young woman stops to spend the night with a shy young man who is having troubles with his mother. The shocking revelation will get you thinking. Alfred Hitchcock’s classic loses no meaning with time.

The avid DVD movie collector might find themselves wondering how they can get around the ridiculous premium set on DVDs by stores like Best Buy and Circuit City. When you're buying four or five movies a week, $20 for one DVD is ridiculous. You'll want to find a better way. Well, in this day and age of high tech possibilities and the explosion of the DVD format as infinitely more popular than VHS ever was, mainly because of its versatility and quality, finding your favorite movies for cheap is easier than ever.
1. Ebay
Ebay is obviously the first choice for any collector. The availability of more or less everything ever made makes it the perfect place to find what you're looking for. And DVDs are incredibly cheap here, sometimes. Keep in mind that unless the DVD is less than $5 though, you could probably find it cheaper elsewhere. That's mainly because of shipping and handling, inflated for fees. But, rarities that you won't find elsewhere as well as incredibly common, unpopular DVDs are perfect for buying on ebay
2. Used Stores
There are still a few of these around, though less and less. Pawn shops, used record shops and the like. They're a dying breed thanks to places like ebay, but alternately they tend to be good places to pick stuff up. They usually set their prices based on the ebay premium, looking them up there to check value (unless it's a chain store. Then they have their own premiums) and price accordingly. And there's no shipping.
3. Reprints
DVDs are constantly being upgraded and rereleased, and with the advent of HD and Bluray discs, the original DVDs are incredibly common and thus cheaper to find. If they rerelease a Criterion edition of a DVD you've been eyeing, you'll find that the original DVD's price will go down before it's pulled from shelves.
4. Amazon.com
You can find some decent deals here occasionally. Amazon will slash prices to near nothing to clear out old stock and the occasionally Amazon seller will do the same. Other online stores like Outpost, Overstock, and Half.com will do the same.
5. Used bins at Video Stores
Video stores are always getting rid of their old stock. You can often find what you're looking for here (if you get there quickly and are willing to live with the cheesy Blockbuster cases with stickers all over them). Look for special deals here as well, where you can get a dozen DVDs for $25 or whatever they decide is fair.
6. Clearance Sales
Occasionally a big chain will clearance old stock to make room. Very rarely places like Best Buy will put DVDs on sale for as low as $3.99 to get rid of super popular movies that everyone already owns. Spiderman is a common culprit in these deals.
7. Video Game Retailers
Places like Gamestop and EBgames still buy old DVDs and resell them and since they're more or less not a DVD reseller they tend to price the occasional DVD rather cheap. Be careful though. It's rare for anything here to be cheaper than elsewhere, but for the k kinds of movies that gamers own – anime, science fiction, TV shows on DVD, this is the place to look.
Your collection won't be brand new or mint condition, but it can be complete on a budget if you look in the right place and stay patient when trying to find that one special DVD. There are hundreds of specialty retailers all over the country that sell DVDs, both used and new. Make sure you check out at least a decent percentage of them before you settle on any old price.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is another successful game from the James Bond 007 video game series. The player guides Bond throughout different missions, moving on to the next level after each prior level is successfully completed. James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing offers a rappel gun for the first time in the Bond series. The rappel gun offers new challenges for the player and opens up each level a bit more for exploration.
Although the game is based on on-foot missions, there are many instances where Bond takes control of different vehicles as well. The game has Bond performing daring stunts across the world with missions in four different continents. One of the notables of this game is its list of celebrity cameos.
