Which of these films must I see?
I’ve got some HMV vouchers to burn and there’s nothing I urgently want. I checked out the DVD sale, and here is a list of films which are cheap and I’ve never seen, but I’d quite like to. Which are the best?

I like intelligent and intriguing or thought-provoking films, especially stuff with a twist, a touch of fantasy or a hint of the surreal. My favourites are by Shyamalan, Kaufman, Jeunet and Caro, etc.

Any recommendations for me?

Both Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile are from the same Director and made from Stephen King stories and both are excellent. Not typical King fare at all and very uplifting with touches of fantasy. My wife liked Freedom Writers but I didn’t see it. The Prestige wa quite good. Frost/Nixon was kinda dull.

Do NOT see Vantage Point it was really annoying how it was made. I went and saw it in theaters when it first came out and every single person in the theater was getting mad at a certain thing in this movie. I’m surprised more ppl didnt walk out.
