Is A Dillon Mini-Gun Too Much For Home Defense?
I don’t know why I want one in case the end of the world comes upon us. Like the worst scenario possible that you can ever imagine, like the total breakdown of Western civilization, 2012, total anarchy, fertilizer hitting the fan everywhere, rioting, looting, invasion and occupation by foreign armies, zombies taking over (hypothetical fiction), and other such phenomena.
If you could legally buy and own one in a SHTF situation, would you go for it?
I definitely would. I would load that thing with 7.62 150 grain Hornady SST’s and mow down hordes of attacking zombies. I think I went over the dose of…never mind. I think I will plead my 5th. LOL = )
What are your thoughts on owning a Dillon Mini-Gun when you are facing the worst situation ever?
Why do you insist on asking these inane questions?…..
I am not sure where your minds at kid — But the worlds not going to end….. There will be no attacking zombies, no food riots, the ghost of Ted kennedy ain’t going to get us…..
Western civilization will slowly degrade thanks to TV, liberalism, Barney Frank, and Nancy Nelosi…..
No invasions necessary….

Go ahead and have your mini-gun. If civilization ended, I’d rather have a bolt-action anything. Hold on to that trigger for longer than 4 seconds and you’ll have a big usless hunk of metal when your ammo runs out.
If you REALLY want to survive the apocalypse, stay in school, get good grades, then go to Med school. You’ll always be useful that way.

That thing runs off of a battery to operate. As long as you got the juice you’re good. Plus, you’re going to throw so much lead you better have a stock pile of 7.62. It’s limited to movement. Where ever you mount it, it’s not going anywhere in a hurry. It would be good for perimeter defenses in groups but stand alone. I think you would get over run eventually. You may have a better chance of mounting it on top of a HUMV. It’s really good for what it does. But it doesn’t beat a well placed shot from a distant. Remember, if you’re the guy laying down lead. You’re making a lot of noise and your flash signature is huge. Good luck with that one, bud……
