IMDB rating: 5.50 Plot: Mike Dooley, who works on the San Diego narcotics squad, is working on a stakeout of drug kingpin Ken Lyman, and Mike barely escapes with his life as his car is blown up by a helicopter that was sent by Lyman. Later, Mike is given a partner — a dog named Jerry Lee. Mike doesn’t like Jerry Lee, but he begins to warm up to Jerry Lee when Jerry Lee shows how helpful he can be. Mike wants to know where Lyman’s next drug shipment will take place, and Jerry Lee helps Mike. In order to keep Mike from messing up the shipment, Lyman has Mike’s girlfriend Tracy kidnapped. Mike and Jerry Lee find Halstead, the car dealer who delivers Lyman’s shipments, and with Jerry Lee’s help, Mike takes the shipment from Halstead, and drives the shipment to where Lyman is expecting the shipment, and this leads to a confrontation with Lyman. |

Why did the police officers thinks the burgulary attempt was an alarm malfunction when i saw somebody?
I was sitting on the computer looking at some stuffs when all of a sudden the burgular alarm went off and it told me it was my front bedroom window so I immediately called 911 and notified the police about the situation. This is not the first time this has happened because the same thing has happened last week. But when they brought in the K-9 dogs to sniff around the places i said i saw the burglars ran they said they founded no trace of people at all. The Lieutenant officer then said he thinks it’s something wrong with the burglar alarms system and requested me to tested it. How come they think it’s a alarm malfunction when i saw someone ?? Do you they think I’m playing false alarm games ?? I was home alone when that happened and i feel like no one believes me of what i saw. It has happened multiple times this past few weeks and I don’t know what is going on right now.
What could I do to make them believe me there was people trying to break in ??? My stupid digital camera ran out of batteries when I tried to take pictures of the burglars on the outside of my house.
If they are in fact disturbing a window to the point of setting off the alarm, they must move the window. Unless you are leaving that (those) windows unlatched, they must damage the window in order to move it. There’s likely tool marks on the window frame where they have forced the window open. If the window is not damaged, are they hitting the window frame or glass to the point of making the glass break detection go off? If so, it seems you would have heard that noise just before the alarm sounded.
You don’t appear to have the system ‘monitored’ by a local service, since you didn’t mention them calling to verify the alarm when it went off. They always call me when mine sounds.
If this is a ‘brand name’ system, get a tech out to see if somethings wrong if you can find no marks on the window you think they were trying out..
If the system checks OK, then someone’s ‘trying’ your system to see if they can get in, or wear you down from the alarm going off ‘for no apparent reason’. Get yourself armed and ready for them to come on in on you at some point as they are crazy and don’t give a damn about the alarm sounding or they will wait until you give up setting the alarm system because it will go off ‘for no reason’ again and you will find them standing next to you while you’re asleep.
