The retiring postman HAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA!!!!!!!!!?
So there’s this postman who served for 30 years in his career and this was his last day.
When he goes to his usual neighbourhood for delivering, he was met very warmly with the family and was given a box of chocolates and prayers. The second family gave him some clothes and wishes too.
When he went to the 3rd house, there, the queen of his dreams, a horny blonde met him and took him into her room holding his hands, closing the door behind her…Upstairs, they made passionate love like never before…later, she took her downstairs for a delicious breakfast with toast, butter, honey bacon and stuff…
Later when she gave him the coffee, there was a dollar note sticking out of the corner of the cup
the postman asks whats this…the blonde said "i told my man that it was ur last day so we shud do sumthing for u…" "But he said, F**K him, just give him a dollar" "The breakfast and the coffee was my idea"

ha. clever.
However, not the best joke I’ve heard.

Timeline (2003)

IMDB rating: 5.30

Plot: In the heart of the beautiful and historically rich Dordogne Valley of France, a team of archeology students and their professor diligently work to uncover the ruins of a 14th-century castle. For Professor Edward Johnston, the project is the culmination of a lifelong dream. Aided by assistant professor Andre Marek, his son Chris and students Kate, Stern and Francois, Johnston has made major strides in unearthing not only La Roque Castle but also a monastery and structures from the surrounding village of Castlegard. But things are about to go haywire… Suspicious of the dig’s benefactor, International Technology Corporation (ITC) and the man who runs it, Robert Doniger, Professor Johnston heads to ITC headquarters in New Mexico to get some answers, and while he’s away, his students discover a chamber that has been sealed for more than 600 years. Marek and Kate descend into the unstable room, and just before a near disastrous cave-in, they make two startling discoveries — a bifocal lens, which couldn’t have been invented before the chamber was sealed, and even more intriguing, a handwritten plea for help dated April 2, 1357…from Professor Johnston! Determined to solve the mystery, the students head for ITC headquarters, where they are stunned to learn of Doniger’s new invention — a machine that can actually transmit three-dimensional objects through space. Although he meant for the device to revolutionize shipping, Doniger inadvertently opened a wormhole that leads directly to the 14th century, and Professor Johnston, who had insisted on experiencing the discovery himself, is now trapped in a vicious French vs. English feudal war! Can Johnston’s loyal students survive one of the most violent battles in world history… and make it back to the 21st century alive?

Wht would happen if I went to the doctor's for something else and they saw cuts (self inflicted) on my arms?
So I have a lump in my neck on the right side a little bit above the collar bone, and its probably just swollen lymph nodes except its only on the right side, what if it’s a cyst or a tumor? What it it’s cancer? I’m so scared.

But the problem is if I go to the University Health Center, I am scared they will have to take my blood and when they roll up my sleeve to do so they will see my self inflicted cuts. I am 20. What would they do if they saw them? Would they lock me up, or just tell me to go see a therapist? If I lied and said I am already seeing a therapist and I made up some name of a therapist, would they believe me? I don’t want to get locked up because I have a timeline as to when I graduate college and also I train martial arts and don’t want to have to stop training for an extended period of time as my muscles would weaken and it would be hard to get back into it. But if on the rare case the lump/ball in my neck is cancer, I don’t want it to spread. What should I do?

(And please don’t lecture me on how bad it is that I cut myself and to go seek help and to take meds, yadda yadda yadda, because I’m not going to do that. Nothing you say will convince me otherwise.)
Also I have a trip on the weekend where my martial arts group is traveling, do you think it would be detrimental if I waited until after that to get the lump on my neck looked at?

Theyd probably tell you to see a therpist or theyd leave it alone cause that probably happens more then you think.
Savannah | Feb 07, 2010

They can’t force you to see a therapist since you’re an adult.

They might ask you what happened and if they do, just be honest. Lying is only going to have a negative outcome, seeing as most doctors know what typical self inflicted cuts look like. No one can lock you up for cutting. It’s quite common and it’s your choice whether you want to seek help for the problem or not.

Speaking from personal experience, seeing a counselor might help you in the long run but no one can make you do anything you don’t want to.
Jessica | Feb 07, 2010

which is worse fessing up and getting help or ignoring current condition and going beyond treatment?
Martial arts development can always be reattained and school will survive without you. What if it was mono and you end up out of circulation for a year. You are not likely to be institutionalized but therapy can take many forms including meds.
rogerrabbitanddoe | Feb 07, 2010

Let me make sure I’m getting this straight ~you want advise ~but only certain kind of advise ????
you cut yourself xxx they see it all the time~will they lock you up ? lock you up for what? you’ve desecrated yourself just deal w/what happens from there on out~but get that lump looked at

I won a watch at Dave and Busters and I need to know what its worth. Help?
I won a watch and It says on the back that it is a stainless steel back, dust proof high quality. And on the front it says Riviera and quartz. I looked on a whole bunch of websites and all of the watches I saw were over $1000 dollars. It is working and is synced perfectly to Pacific Standard Time(PST). Please leave your guess and if possible the name of the watch. Thanks.
it feels like metal and it is weaved with 4 gold colors then 3 silver and so on until it gets to the watch itself which is silver color with a gold color ring around the glass to the numbers

Lots of companies have watches labelled Riviera. If you got it from a restaurant I would guess it is worth about $10 and that it is not a Baume et Mercier Riviera watch. I hope I’m wrong.

The vast majority of that list would be good choices, with a few exceptions: The Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Flaubert works are too advanced for the great majority of teens, and Ulysses too complex probably for any teen. On the other end, the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs are too simple. If you’re looking for fast paced adventure in fantastic settings, there are many writers more recent than Burroughs who do it far better.

Of the books listed, my personal favorites are Pride and Prejudice, The Trial, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Huckleberry Finn (although the last 1/3 or so of Huck Finn is not nearly as good as the earlier sections). The Sherlock Holmes books on the list are also great, and I loved reading them at about your age.

I would begin with the smallest book and work your way up to the largest book. If you start with the largest book first, you might get overwhelmed.
I would recomend reading Alice and wonderland. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I got through it in less than a day too. I have a shot attention span so that’s saying a lot

Pride and Prejudice, Turn of the Screw and Portrait of Dorian Gray. I am excited to see the list and wish you luck reading all of these fine works.
