Are morning glory flower seeds sold all year round?
I would love to get some morning glory seeds, but it’s early December, in North Carolina, and I was wondering if they are sold all year round? I prefer the heavenly blue, or the moon vine. I prefer the untreated kind, it’s better for the environment, and them being sprayed with Mercury just doesn’t sound to appealing.
If so what stores sell them all year round? I was thinking about Walmart, Home Depot, etc. Also which places sell the untreated kind? Or will it say so on the package?
Along with morning glories, I would like some hawaiian baby wood rose seeds. Same concept as the morning glories.

Found this very interesting. I bought my seeds from Ace hardware. They were treated, I assumed with mere fertilizer. May have mercury. Trick is to find organic seeds. Found the below. Good luck!

You will want to order them online, or purchase them from a pipe shop. Or if you can find them labeled "organic", those would be fine. But it would take many seed packages to make enough.

Follow the extraction procedure at erowid, and don’t try to rush it.

They are extremely easy to grow, and produce seed abundantly. They do well climbing a chain link fence, and they actually prefer (somewhat) poor soil. They would do fine in a location that you could only visit every few weeks to weed.

To establish himself as a great passer among the best. now i know what superbowl rings and championships do for a quarterback. the joe montana’s, the terry bradshaws and the tom brady? oh wait, let me take terry bradshaw out of that. and troy aikman? yeah. my thoughts exactly! Peyton is gonna be in the Hall of Fame for sure. After that Superbowl vs the Bears and all his MVP throphies and all that plus the fact that he will probebly break all the carrer passer record (that Favre took forever to get) before he retires. So yes he is hall of fame material for sure already, but would a superbowl add to his legacy? Yes. To be considered the best ever without a doubt? Introducing dog to cat. Tips?
My partner’s daughter was given a kitten about two weeks ago as a birthday present and now I just learned the little puppy I had been waiting for is going to be home in two days. My question is: how can we introduce them without making this a traumatic event for them? Both are the same age (12 weeks), both are males (kitten has already been neutered when he was in the shelter; and we plan on having the puppy neutered as soon as the vet says he’s old enough) and both are used to other animals and people. We adopted the kitten from the shelter and the puppy is coming from an animal rescue association (they got the mom there when she was already pregnant, so all the puppies were born there). I don’t really know if this matters, but the puppy is an American Eskimo.

The kitten has only been with us for around two weeks, so I would want to think this change won’t be as stressful for him as if he had been longer. He is a very laid-back kitten, who doesn’t even mind kids petting him or picking him up all the time. We really hope they can become playmates and that this adaptation process can be done as easily as possible.

I read somewhere the introduction shouldn’t take place anywhere the cat could consider "his territory", and that he shouldn’t feel he doesn’t have a way out in case he gets scared. So, what would be the best place? He’s an indoor kitten. The puppy is a miniature American Eskimo, so I don’t think sizes should be an issue either. I thought about keeping the puppy inside his crate for a while and let the kitten sniff him before letting them interact with each other.

Anyways, any tips or advices are much appreciated, specially coming from someone who has dealt with this situation or at least knows what they’re talking about.

Since both are so young and used to being around other animals I think they should take to each other easily. If you can, visit the puppy at the shelter and bring him something with the kitten’s scent (a toy, a towel) and bring something back with the puppy’s scent so they can get used to each others scent. Keeping the puppy in the crate for the first introduction is a good way to go. The territory thing should not really be an issue since the kitten is so new to the home. If possible, when you first bring the pup home, give him lots of play time with you in one room while your partner and their daughter play with the kitten. The idea is to tire both animals out a bit so they are calmer when they first meet. The crate thing is a good idea. If that seems to be going well, you can let the pup out of his cage but keep him on a leash at first.

Make sure each animal has a separate eating/sleeping place at first and a place to retreat to if they feel threatened or need a break from the other animal. In time you can move the bowls together so they can eat and even sleep side by side.

I’ve seen several dogs and cats that were best friends. Oh, and I have a book of dog breeds here that says American Eskimo’s generally get along well with cats, so you should be good to go!

I love Monica and Melody! Both are very cute and feminine but not too frilly. Melody is one of those unique names that aren’t too out-there and can fit both a little girl and a teenager as well as an older woman- it’s my favorite out of your list. Monica is also cute, the only reason I’m not as drawn to it is because I already know someone named Monica and she is not exactly the nicest kid around haha (my sister’s "friend"), but with that aside, it’s a lovely, soft name and I especially love it in Spanish. Anna has a pretty sound but it’s just too plain for me. Maybe think of another name with "anna" in it and use Anna as a nickname? There are countless "anna" names, some that start with it (Annabelle, Annalie, Annaliese, Anastasia, etc.) and there are many that end in it (Adrianna, Savanna, Susanna, Lianna, Johanna, etc.).

Charlotte is ok, I love the classiness of its timeless quality, but it just doesn’t seem that special. There are similar names I like better like Violet and Scarlet. I love how you want to honor your grandma though and plan on doing the same thing with my own grandma when I have kids (in the far, far future…), but I would personally use this as a middle name and not a first- maybe Monica Charlotte, Melody Charlotte or Sophie (or Sophia) Charlotte?
I don’t like River or Jesse, and Sophie is cute but I prefer Sophia with Sophie as a nickname.
