Is this bad on my part or is he over-reacting?
Ok, so I am dating this guy and we work together. He says I am too flirty with guys and he knew that when we started dating but he was okay with it because that is how we hooked up. My boyfriend and I were just havin’ this conversation the other day. Some men and women, in my opinion, are just born natural flirts. When you get into a relationship, you need to calm it way down. A lot of people would say that flirting with other guys at the same place you and your boyfriend work is disrespectful, not to mention embarrassing.

Put yourself in his shoes. If he acted the way you do, would it bother you? If you had to find out from someone else that a woman was smackin’ him on the butt with whatever object they deemed fit, and didn’t find out from him, would it bother you?

It may be true that you haven’t cheated on him – there’s no way for us to know that but it seems to me that you enjoy the attention of these other guys and that’s where you’re in the wrong. Okay, he knew you were a flirt before you two got together and maybe he shouldn’t expect you to change but because you’re in a relationship, you should want to tone it down a bit. Especially if you "really care for him" as you say you do. And about the guy who smacks you on the butt with a book. Getting smacked on the butt by fellow employees is harassment … unless you allow it.

Flirting may be fun but what you do by flirting is you tell all the guys that you are open to them doing pretty much what they want to to you. It doesn’t make you look like an adult, that is for sure.

Tell your boyfriend you will cut out the flirting and start setting boundaries that other employees will have to accept. You have been behaving over the line and you are paying for it.

I also think your boyfriend is overreacting with this "break my heart" BS. He really is playing the drama queen. After all, that is how he hooked up with you in the first place.

Now, you have to learn what cheating rally is. It is not just having sex. It is paying attention to other guys in a way that they think you MIGHT have sex with them.

Best of luck to you. You are obviously a good person who learned a set of rules for dating that does not work in the real world where the guys are adults in body, but not in mind! I assume you are not working at a place where there is so much work that there is no time for some fooling around. Decide first: What kind of person do I want to be and then … act that way! It isn’t difficult after the first few encounters. You can teach people that the old rules do not apply. Tell them that you have been taken over by pod people and they do not tolerate touching.

I still can't name my characters. Help?
So I still can’t name my characters, no matter how much I rattle around in my brain( hee hee. Isn’t that a funny looking image? Someone walking around in their own brain with a map?)

Anastasia ‘Stacy’ Lane: I can’t find a good name for her. She’s very sarcastic and feisty, and her impulsiveness gets the best of her sometimes. I can’t name her Alexis or Isabelle, since those are my sisters names( and I feel very awkward typing their names). Can you give me a list of uncommon, probably old, names you like?

My first suggestion is go to the baby names section of Y!A and look around. But realize that most of the people on there are expectant mothers and the names that they choose will not be right for the era your character is born unless shes relatively young. It might spark some ideas for you though.

I go through these phases every two years or so where I want to go back and watch the old Disney movies I adored when I was a kid. However, there’s one that eludes me every year because I saw it so long ago that I can’t remember the title, nor can I be sure if it was really Disney. One note: don’t read the first few lines of my synopsis and conclude it’s the Pagemaster, I know that one.

Here’s what I remember: It starts in real life, then goes to animation. There was a kid who lived on a farm or something like that, and for some reason he is sucked into an animated world where a rooster is some central character/hero. There are songs and everything, and it climaxes with this kid returning to real life and seeing the rooster nearly dead (but still animated), I can’t remember the end.

If you know, please answer. I can’t find it on any list, it’s driving me nuts!
