Why do they always like to call us NeoCons and Teabaggers?
Is it because we like to call the Libs or Dems "Communists" and "Socialists"? because even though they are technically different, ol’ Barry with his Kenyesian Politics and "Spreading the Wealth Around" to the 57 States makes it MOST Appropriate for us to call him Obama Marx, orother Stalin-era leaders…
So whats up with the "NeoCon" and "Teabagger" labels?
To me, it just goes back to the War on Profits.. (The Democrats are upset that Republicans have so much money that we cant recall how many houses weown off the top of our head, a la mcCain, so in order to appear to be Robin Hood despite Socialism virtually imposed in our Free Market Economy, he likes to appear to be taking money away from those that have EANRED it, IN ADDITION to Higher HIDDEN Taxes and BOGUS Spending Freezes, to pay for SPENDING that goes to -SHOCKER - the people he is Taxing…)
Get Real. The Obama is more Transparent than Transparency Glass.
it’s an admission of DEFEAT on their part!!!

Calling names is easier than using facts to debate the issues.

Because that’s what you guys started calling yourselves. Then when people started to make fun of you, you guys tried to act like we were the ones that came up with it.

The name calling is childish, but both sides do it.
You can do your part and not play along with that game.

It makes them feel better about themselves. When they can’t win a debate they always resort to name calling.

Because they are not smart enough to actually debate issues, however name calling requires absolutely NO intelligence
lillith25 | Feb 01, 2010
As a libertarian if they act and behave like a neocon then I will call them one.
As far as teabagger I don’t see it as an insult. People should wear it as a mark of distinction. You should wear it as a person whom has principles and stands up for them.
Robin Hood was a tax protestor | Feb 01, 2010
Those are titles given by other conservatives to name their "movements." I say neo-conservative because that’s what they wish to be called. I’m a liberal, and not a communist/socialist, yet you would still call me that. Why?

When school kids can’t win an argument on the facts, they resort to name calling. It is just immaturity.
john Galt | Feb 01, 2010
Liberals most often base their beliefs on emotions anyway. Why does it surprise you that they use name calling?
They use those terms because it is damn difficult to argue against freedom and liberty.
NavyCopATFP | Feb 01, 2010
name calling reeks of school yard mentality and blanket statements are easily thrown around.
… as to the ‘war on profits’, its easy to earn a bigger pile of money when the game is fixed in your favor. and really, the pile of money is only so big, if a few are getting it all, then the rest are left with nothing to get.

Is he interested in me at all?
I’d like honest responses. Please tell me what you actually believe. Not a lie.
He teases me about this guy who has a crush on me. We flirt a whole lot.
Today I told him how a lot of people dislike me and he told me who could ever
dislike me and that he liked me. (It was really cute(: ) He questioned me about who
my celebrity crush was…(I know sounds lame. But I found it odd, I’m not very experienced
with men.) He flexes a lot around me. He sometimes randomly hugs me. He always shouts
at me in the halls whenever he sees me. He tickles me a lot. He makes fun of the way I talk
and he makes a lot of stereotypical jokes. I don’t get offended or anything. Whenever in the same
room we end up right next to each other. He hardly texts me but whenever he does it’s always late at night. And he asked why I never stay afterschool with him anymore.
Does he like me?

Has anyone read the book Angela's Ashes? I need some help understanding the book. Can you help?
Here are some questions I have about the book:
1. What are some literary techniques in the book?
2. What are the moods of the book?
3.Did you learn anything information or anything new from the book?
4. How did the Irish deal with social and religious problems in the book?
5.How are minorities seen in the book?
6. Why did the McCourts move to Ireland?
If could answer any of these questions that would be great. You dont have to answer all, just to the best of your ability,
thanks(:
I read half of it a few years ago, but stopped because it mirrored my life too closely and I couldn’t take it any more.

Does it sound like my tailbone might be broken?
I fell down the stairs a couple days before halloween and I landed on my lower back on the tile floor. It hurt so bad I couldn’t walk for a week. It started to feel a little better but it still hurt. Like whenever I got out of bed or even tried to tie my shoes. So it’s been over 3 months and it still really hurts. I can’t stay in the same position for very long, and it really sucks having to ride the bus everyday because it is so bumpy. I’m 15 and my mom has been having health issues lately and hasn’t been able to take me to the doctor. So right now I’m just looking for some opinions.
Thanks

Duel view camera = webcam - maybe?
So I have the new duel view camera, where it shows the picture on the back and the front, and my friend told me that you can use a digital camera as a web cam. I’m not sure how to do it, so can someone please expain?
Whenever I have a question/problem such as yours, I read the user’s guide (aka "the manual").
It is amazing just how much I always learn from that.
If that doesn’t help, I check the manufacturer’s website. They have descriptions and specs for their cameras, often have user forums, and the decent manufacturers let you download the manuals in electronic form.
99% of the time that does the trick.
"Can this camera be used as a webcam?"
The quick answer to this VERY common question is "No".
The more detailed answer is this: sometimes it is possible, but it isn’t a good solution. You would need to have the right camera, cable, software and drivers.
Then you need to set it all up to work, which can be a big pain.
Even if you DO get it working, you are now causing wear and tear on what might be a fairly/very expensive camera.
Webcams start at about $20.oo. They do the job well, they are usually easy to set up, and they can STAY set up - you won’t want to quickly grab your webcam on the way out the door, only so you have to start setting up all over again next time you want to use it.
Check out the websites of Logitech, Creative, and Microsoft.
All make good webcams.
Check the features carefully if you want to have those fancy video effects, because not every cam supports them.
Figure out which models you like, then google for the best price.
If you are still determined to use your still camera, then read your manual - if it is possible, it would be a good selling point, so the manual will tell you how to do it.

E.T Extra Terrestrial song?
I’m looking for a song from the 80’s. All I can remember is that it started off with a person saying "I am et extra terrestrial" and then it went into some type of a "disco/groove" mode. It’s not a soundtrack from the actual movie E.T. If anyone knows please help me out!
Thank You
The only one i can think of is sung by a group called The Little Dabs..It’s called E.T.( The Extra Terrestrial)..it came out in the early 80’s..Very grrovy and funky..It was a young girl singing the lead vocals…Also Walter Murphy came out with an E.T. medley back in the 80’s that was groovy. Not sure if that’s the one you’re thinking of though..

Question about a how my close friend is acting and if I am over-reacting.?
This is a long story and I just need opinions from a complete stranger. I understand if you guys don’t want to read this, but I am really frustrated and just need outside perspective.
My best friend Capri (who is practically family) and I are in a bit of a disagreement. She went to Columbia for Christmas and got really sick over their with Dengue fever.
Dengue fever really sucks according to search engines: you get a high grade fever of 104-105 degrees, get a rash all over the body, headache, joint aches, swollen nymph nodes and etc. It’s a fever of the blood - but there is not really a treatment besides plenty of rest and fluids (like the flu and cold virus.) Tylenol is recommended, but besides that - nada.
She emailed me and asked if I could come and stay with her. I said yes and asked when, but had not got a reply back yet.
My friend came back from her vacation out of the U.S. and went to the hospital here as well and got diagnosed with gallbladder infection. (OUCH. That sucks too…I’m not being sarcastic too.)
Her father called me and left a message the day before surgery, but where I live you can
