Why do they always like to call us NeoCons and Teabaggers?
Is it because we like to call the Libs or Dems "Communists" and "Socialists"? because even though they are technically different, ol’ Barry with his Kenyesian Politics and "Spreading the Wealth Around" to the 57 States makes it MOST Appropriate for us to call him Obama Marx, orother Stalin-era leaders…

So whats up with the "NeoCon" and "Teabagger" labels?

To me, it just goes back to the War on Profits.. (The Democrats are upset that Republicans have so much money that we cant recall how many houses weown off the top of our head, a la mcCain, so in order to appear to be Robin Hood despite Socialism virtually imposed in our Free Market Economy, he likes to appear to be taking money away from those that have EANRED it, IN ADDITION to Higher HIDDEN Taxes and BOGUS Spending Freezes, to pay for SPENDING that goes to -SHOCKER – the people he is Taxing…)

Get Real. The Obama is more Transparent than Transparency Glass.

it’s an admission of DEFEAT on their part!!!

Calling names is easier than using facts to debate the issues.

Because that’s what you guys started calling yourselves. Then when people started to make fun of you, you guys tried to act like we were the ones that came up with it.
Godless Heathen | Feb 01, 2010

they have been reduced to name calling tactics, as the truth is too much for them
Ron Badhand | Feb 01, 2010

Neo-conservatism is a real term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neocon

Teabagger is one they chose for themselves.

The name calling is childish, but both sides do it.

You can do your part and not play along with that game.
Mad Mama | Feb 01, 2010

It makes them feel better about themselves. When they can’t win a debate they always resort to name calling.
IceT | Feb 01, 2010

Because they are not smart enough to actually debate issues, however name calling requires absolutely NO intelligence
lillith25 | Feb 01, 2010

As a libertarian if they act and behave like a neocon then I will call them one.

As far as teabagger I don’t see it as an insult. People should wear it as a mark of distinction. You should wear it as a person whom has principles and stands up for them.

Those are titles given by other conservatives to name their "movements." I say neo-conservative because that’s what they wish to be called. I’m a liberal, and not a communist/socialist, yet you would still call me that. Why?

When school kids can’t win an argument on the facts, they resort to name calling. It is just immaturity.

Liberals most often base their beliefs on emotions anyway. Why does it surprise you that they use name calling?

They use those terms because it is damn difficult to argue against freedom and liberty.
NavyCopATFP | Feb 01, 2010

name calling reeks of school yard mentality and blanket statements are easily thrown around.

… as to the ‘war on profits’, its easy to earn a bigger pile of money when the game is fixed in your favor. and really, the pile of money is only so big, if a few are getting it all, then the rest are left with nothing to get.
