this is kinda long but i need some advice to ease my mind?
so almost 2 weeks ago my daughter went to have a cat scan because it feels like one of the sutures in her head has fused early (sutures are the ends of the skull that fuses later in life) so shes got this hard line going to the back of her head, well now they have set me up with a neurologist to review her scan, and its got me nervous, from what i have read on the net (i know not always the best place) to fix it they will have to do surgery because it can cause the brain to not grow correctly and have some developmental delays (as of right now i cant tell that there are any) but now the more and more i look at her head it kinda seems to be a little bigger in the forehead area, i have included pics for you to kinda look at and give your opinion, but i guess what i want to know is would they have gotten a neuro involved if it wasnt something serious or do they just want a second opinion with a dr that deals with this stuff, i still have to wait another week before we se the neuro so some ease of mind til then would be wonderful thank you

no does not look quite normal but get two opinions on it before the do anything

Firstly your daughter is sooo beautiful!!
However there does appear to be some Slight abnormal con caving on the sides of her face, It could just be that you drew big arrows pointing to it so I noticed it more, But just have faith that you are being sent to see a specialist now before there is any chance it can get worse, Doctors today are miracle workers My nephew was born with his stomach and intestiness growing on the outside of his body, he had corrective surgery and is now the happiest, healthiest, smartest 3 year old i know

Worst case scenario, at least it was caught early enough before there were any developmental problems. Your baby is in good hands!! Even with the surgery. I’m sure every thing will be fine

She looks fine to me! Those indent could be nothing, i will pray for you, she is gorgeous and she has pretty eyes! The forehead may seem bigger but so does out lil boy, it needs time to fill in. Shes so small still!!!!!!! and she looks so alert already, look at her sitting on her bumbo. mine only started sitting on his bumbo at 3 months… He was too soft before that! Good luck!!!
dont worry, she is fineeeeeee! All babies are a little different when theyre that small!
